A Honda fuel pump recall has been issued for more than 708,000 vehicles because the impellers in the pumps may be defective.
The plaintiff who sued claims the vehicles place occupants at risk of injuries and death because of the fuel pump failures. The Quebec fuel pump recalls allegedly didn't include all the Honda vehicles affected by the DENSO pumps.
A Honda fuel pump recall allegedly didn't include all the affected New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania Honda and Acura vehicles equipped with DENSO low-pressure fuel pumps and fuel pump assemblies, including pumps that begin with part number 17045-T.
Over 708,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled to replace their DENSO fuel pumps.

Honda received a report in February 2018 that indicated the wrong owner's manual was found in a vehicle during a routine port inspection. The automaker opened an investigation and determined there were problems at one manufacturing plant.
